Pool closing early on a Saturday night is frustrating!!! Business center equipment not functioning properly is disappointing!!! Ensure better communication about amenities!!!

What they got right and wrong

The hot breakfast was a highlight, particularly the pancake machine, and Miss Loretta kept everything stocked and tidy. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds, and the AC worked perfectly.

Check-in could be disorganized and the staff unfriendly at times, leading to a chaotic start. Additionally, some rooms showed signs of wear and tear, which detracted from the overall experience.

the air conditioner worked well, but the check-in staff seemed uninterested. the breakfast had a nice variety, and the room was clean with comfy beds. location was close to many restaurants 👍.

I loved the comfy beds and super clean room! The breakfast was a good surprise, featuring everything from hot omelets to the pancakes I can't stop raving about! Plus, the outdoor pool is perfect for those sunny days-can I get an amen?

The bed proved uncomfortably hard, making it a struggle to get quality rest. Parking felt limited, especially during peak hours. Even though it was warm outside, the pool remained closed, which disappointed anyone hoping for a swim. Also, the lack of enough amenities for the price tagged on left much to be desired.

Breakfast was a hit! Loved the pancake machine and the friendly staff keeping everything replenished. Plus, check-in was smooth and easy. Can't forget that smell of fresh pastries from nearby Poupart Bakery – it’s a must-try!

Those beds were downright uncomfortable, almost like sleeping on a board. Maintenance needs a kick. rust and mold are not a good look. Breakfast not starting earlier is a bummer for early risers too.

The stay was pretty smooth, clean standard room with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The breakfast had tasty pancakes and fresh pastries. Staff was friendly, and the check-in was quick. The outdoor swimming pool looked inviting and there were nice sun loungers around. Overall, a good option for a quick trip.

I was immensely pleased with the warm, inviting atmosphere and excellent customer service at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lafayette South, An Ihg Hotel. The staff were very engaging, which made my stay enjoyable.
